SYLLABUS: Click HERE to view the Honors Calculus Syllabus. If you are in the STEM program AND a junior, click HERE for your syllabus that includes the STEM category. I am also including the STEM program syllabus (HERE) as a reminder of those expectations.
PRE-COURSE ASSIGNMENT: Hover over the Honors Calculus tab on this blog & select the Pre-Course Assignment tab. The pre-course assignment is a review of the most important Algebra & Pre-Calculus topics needed for success in Calculus. You also need to purchase your supplies BEFORE the first day of school. You will need them on Day 1 and I don't want you to get behind. The list is towards the bottom of this page.
DELTAMATH.COM: Go to deltamath.com to join our Calculus class. Teacher Code: 198515. You will have occasional assignments on this site.
HELP SESSIONS: I am available for extra help at 7:45 AM on Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Occasionally, I will have a meeting scheduled for on one of these days so it is always a good idea to check with me. You are also welcome to go to any other Pre-Calculus teacher for help. Click HERE for the tutoring schedule. Help sessions are a chance for you to come prepared with questions or an assignment that you want to work on. Also, there is a good chance that there will be other students from other math classes in the help sessions. I will rotate to help everyone.
MAKE-UP SESSIONS: If you are absent for a quiz or test, you need to attend a make-up session on Wednesday morning or Thursday afternoon to take it. Click HERE for times and locations. A quiz must be made up before the unit test. If you miss a unit test, you need to make it up before the following unit test. You will have a 0 in the grade book until it is completed.
SUPPLIES: It is your responsibility to come prepared to class each day.

Graph paper

TI-84 or TI-Nspire CX CAS (if you plan to take AP next year) Graphing Calculator! (In my opinion, it is best to have multiple calculators, but I know that can be expensive. Certain topics will be allowed the use of different types of calculators, i.e. graphing, scientific, or 4-function. So if you have a scientific or 4-function calculator, you may want to use them when a graphing calculator isn't allowed. You should only buy Texas Instrument calculators. Casio is extremely difficult to use. The TI-89 is NOT allowed in Honors Calculus.
TI-30X PRO Scientific Calculator (highly recommended)
