PRE-COURSE ASSIGNMENT: Click HEREto direct you to the AP Calculus Pre-Course Assignment tab on this blog. You can also access it by pulling down on the AP Calculus tab. Due to missing 2 weeks of instructional time, you will complete Unit 1, which is our review of the most important Algebra & Pre-Calculus topics for success in Calculus. This is required and will count towards your grade. I expect that you complete everything before the first day of school, but I will not grade it until August 28th. We will begin our first Calculus unit on the first day of school together.
HELP SESSIONS: I am available for extra help at 7:45 AM on Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Occasionally, I will have a meeting scheduled for on one of these days so it is always a good idea to check with me. You are also welcome to go to any other Algebra 1 teacher for help. Click HERE for the tutoring schedule. Help sessions are a chance for you to come prepared with questions or an assignment that you want to work on. Also, there is a good chance that there will be other students from other math classes in the help sessions. I will rotate to help everyone.
MAKE-UP SESSIONS: If you are absent for a quiz or test, you need to attend a make-up session on Wednesday morning or Thursday afternoon to take it. Click HERE for times and locations. A quiz must be made up before the unit test. If you miss a unit test, you need to make it up before the following unit test. You will have a 0 in the grade book until it is completed.
SUPPLIES: It is your responsibility to come prepared to class each day.
